    Machu Picchu

    Machu Picchu construido antes del siglo XV, ubicado en la Cordillera Oriental del sur del Perú, en la cordillera de los Andes a 2430 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Se encuentra ubicado en la región del Cusco, provincia de Urubamba, distrito de Machupicchu, en el Valle Sagrado de los Incas, a 80 kilómetros al noroeste de la ciudad del Cusco, ciudad del Perú y donde desemboca el río Urubamba, río que atraviesa la cordillera. y origina un cañón con un clima tropical de montaña. Según muchos estudiosos su nombre original habría sido Llaqtapata.

                      The Maras Salt Flats

                      The Maras Salt Mines in Cusco, also known as the Maras Salinas, are salt mines whose exploitation dates back to the times of the Tahuantinsuyo. Located on the slopes of a hill, the salt pans, arranged in terraces, are crossed by a stream that feeds the pools with salty water. The use of Maras Salt has been passed down through generations for thousands of years, with each family inheriting this tradition, yet it is managed collectively. The salt mine’s name in Quechua is Kachi Raqay and consists of about five thousand pools, each around 5 square meters. The water filters into the pools and evaporates under the intense sun, causing thick salt crystals to form.

                          Centro Histórico de Lima

                          Declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, el Centro Histórico de Lima es una joya que combina historia y arquitectura. En sus calles encontrarás impresionantes iglesias barrocas, plazas majestuosas como la Plaza Mayor y edificios coloniales que cuentan la historia del antiguo Virreinato del Perú.                             El Qorikancha

                            El Qorikancha fue el centro religioso del Cusco, centro geográfico y político. El templo del Qorikancha era el lugar donde se rendía homenaje al dios supremo de los Incas, el “Inti” (sol). "Qori" significa oro trabajado, su forma española es cori. "Kancha" significa lugar cerrado, limitado por muros. De ahí que el nombre corresponda aproximadamente a "lugar cerrado que contiene oro".

                              Inca Uyo

                              El complejo arqueológico Inca Uyo es uno de los sitios más fascinantes de Chucuito. Conocido por sus misteriosas figuras de piedra talladas, este lugar es un importante vestigio de la cultura incaica.
